SKILLED EMPLOYEES
Chicago Lighthouse Industries employs over 40 people who are blind or
visually impaired to manufacture our products.
Our
highly qualified personnel assemble and package 1,000 clocks and 1,600
printer ribbons per day to meet the needs of our customers.
Each individual goes through job specific training to enhance their work skills in order to meet the requirements of our manufacturing procedures.
Our managing
staff, who are fully sighted, work closely with our employees in skills
training, manufacturing procedures, job development and quality control.
This
training assists us in the ultimate goal of our organization – job
placement for our employees within private industry.
