About
For young children, learning is happening all the time. The Chicago Lighthouse’s new Children’s Enrichment Program is a series of six-week learning sessions that reinforce our commitment to serving the educational, therapeutic, social-emotional and community and family needs of children with disabilities.

Each class will focus on a separate learning area: Literacy, Social Skills, Music Therapy and Art Therapy. These programs are available to all children 0-6 with disabilities – and especially those with visually disabilities at both our downtown and Glenview locations.

Cost for each 6-week session is $30. Scholarships are available.

Art Therapy
September 25th – November 4th

Children will be led in different forms of art to build concrete fine motor skills, develop their creative brains, and learn to work with others.

Literacy Program
Next Session TBD
Suggested Ages: 4-6
Each session will feature a new book and multi-sensory props so the children can explore a story as a teacher reads and engages them through questions and conversation. Books will be provided and sent home with the children so parents can continue to participate in literacy strategies at home.
