Our Seniors Program offers complimentary weekly programming for older adults ages 55 and up who are facing vision loss. We develop meaningful and relevant programs based on the needs and interests of our participants. Our programs are designed to enhance independence, develop critical skills and foster a sense of community for seniors who are blind or visually impaired.

Programming & Schedule

We offer regular programs in wellness, exercise, technology training, brain games, and more. We also offer specific, topic-driven sessions covering issues that impact our Lighthouse community. We often work with local partner organizations to provide expert facilitation for our programs.

Our classes and events are determined on a monthly basis and may change month to month. Participants build their own schedules based on what best suits their interests and availability.

Seniors Support Group

We welcome clients ages 55+ to join us for this interactive exchange of ideas & information to increase your knowledge & help you retain your independence while getting the support you need. Join in to say hi, share how you’re doing & hear some familiar voices. To enroll contact Melissa Wittenberg: (847) 510-2060.
